using lampworking and metalsmithing skills that I have honed over the years. When you buy handmade there will inevitably be imperfections. I align with the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi or 'golden joinery'. This is a method of filling a crack that has happened in a piece of pottery with gold or silver metals making the crack not an imperfection but rather the beauty in the art piece.
It's these 'perfectly, imperfect' distinctions that make each piece wonderfully unique and individual and why you will never find two pieces exactly the same • 🐦⬛•
